Sweden coastal artillery sword with scabbard, item M1902/15

Official model of the Swedish coastal artillery, made according to historical models and models from the Ministry of Defense.
Guard and handle:
The guard is cast from solid brass, consisting of a bracket with 3 crowns and a decorated handle cap.
Finish: hand sanded and polished - nickel plated and 24 carat gold plated.
The blade tang is firmly screwed to the pommel.
The handle is covered with genuine cowhide and 3 gold-plated brass wires in 13 grooves.
Blade:
The blade is hand-forged from carbon steel, dimensions approx. 21 x 6 x 800 mm or 860 mm flexible, hardened to 48-55° HRC Rockwell.
Both sides have 2 narrow blood grooves that are sanded by hand.
Finish: Manually ground and polished, bright nickel plated.
Sheath:
The steel sheath is made by hand from a seamless steel tube, mouthpiece, endpiece and ring.
After sanding, the surface is powder-coated black or nickel-plated.
Length approx. 850 mm, for 800 mm blade.
Packaging:
Each sword is delivered in a cotton fabric bag and with a WKC certificate of authenticity.
Customers must be at least 18 years old and belong to the Swedish military - proof required.

The handle is covered with genuine cowhide leather and 3 gold-plated brass wires in the grooves.
