Austrian cavalry officer's saber with steel scabbard, model 1904, historical, heavy version with large basket, broad blade and scabbard with fixed ribbon.
Manufactured in Germany based on historical models by WKC.
Specification:
Blade: Forged stainless steel, hardened and tempered to approx. 48-55 HRC Rockwell, hand-ground and highly polished. Elegant bend.
One hollow track per side. Dimensions: approx. 810 x 25 x 6 mm, extra wide blade
Outfit: Cast from solid brass, consisting of screw, cap with 2 flaps, heavy strap and grip strap. Hand set, ground and polished. Finish: Bright Nickel Plated.
Handle: Made of particularly durable ABS plastic, black, finely pearled surface for a firm grip, wrapped with three twisted and silver-plated brass wires.
Sheath: Bent stainless steel tube with spout, handcrafted, ground and polished. With a fixed carrying ring made of stainless steel and a riding ring on the back. Brass spout. Finish: bright nickel
