Bolivia Police General saber with scabbard
Former German Army model based on Modell. M1870.
Made in Germany
Blade: Stainless steel, hardened and tempered to approx. 48-53°HRC Rockwell. Ground and polished by hand. Two hollow lanes. Length approx. 81 cm.
Etching: The blade is finely damascened on both sides with ornaments and a shield for name engravings.
Outfit: Cast from solid brass, consisting of a lion's head, bow and grip strap. Hand-set, ground and polished, 24-carat gold-plated. The screw connection is chased and therefore not visible. Two ruby eyes adorn the lion's head.
Handle: ABS plastic, ivory-colored, finely beaded, wrapped with three gold-plated brass wires.
Scabbard: Tubular steel bent and polished by hand. The three fittings made of brass are finely embossed with ornaments and 24 carat gold plated. 2 carrying rings.
Accessories included: Cloth pouch with drawstring and WKC Certificate of Authenticity.
