Bugler’s Sword description:

Regiment musicians in the Victorian British Army and the volunteer regiments carried their own short sword as a defensive sidearm. Though these are typically referred to as a sword, these Bugler’s Swords have a size and length that is more like a large dirk or a smaller short sword in size. There were several variants in the 19th century and these followed a Neo-Gothic styling complete with the EIIR cypher at the guard.

This sword has a blade stainles ssteel which is solidly mounted into a hilt of finely cast brass. It is paired with a leather sheath which is completed with brass fittings.

Finish: 24 carat goldplated or polished brass.
