The UK Cavalry Sword M/1912, also known as the Pattern 1912 Cavalry Sword, is produced by WKC (Weyersberg, Kirschbaum & Co.) in Solingen, Germany. WKC is the last German sword manufacturer, and they produced a wide range of military swords for various countries, including the UK.
The M/1912 Cavalry Sword was the last standard issue cavalry sword used by the British Army during World War I. In 2005, W.K.C. a large part of the production of Wilkinson Sword in London.
In addition to machines, devices and parts for edged weapons, we also took over the tools for the British cavalry sword M1912, which Wilkinson had previously supplied exclusively to the British Ministry of Defence.

The grip cap is made of solid brass and finely chased.
The cap is riveted to the continuous blade tang.

Hand-forged blade with a central hollow on each side, hardened and tempered to approx. 48-54°HRC Rockwell.
