The Blues and Royals – Officers Sword with Steel scabbard

This quality arm is the ceremonial version of the British Household- Cavalry swrord with scabbard. It is crafted in accordance with the British MOD specifications.

In November 2005, WKC purchased the toolings of Wilkinson Sword Ltd.  for production of various ceremonial swords.

• Blade:

Forged stainless steel  blade. It is hardened to ca. 48-52° HRC Rockwell, then well-tempered and hand-polished. Dimensions ca. 940 x 25 x 9 mm

• Guard: Pierced steel guard bearing the British crown, hand-polished, nickel-plated guard. Cap made of solid brass, nickel- plated.
• Grip: Handle is covered with genuine shark skin, wrapped with 3 silverplated wires.
• Scabbard: Heavy steel scabbard, nickelplated with 2 carrying rings made of brass
• Overall length of sword ca. 1095 mm
• Overall weight of sword ca. 1100 gr
• Overall weight scabbard ca. 700 gr
