Hand-forged, curved blade. Hardened approx. 48-52° HRC Rockwell, hand polished and both sides of the blade with the British General Scimitar Officer etching. The etching is so deep that you can feel it with your fingernail. The blade dimensions are approximately 800 mm x 25.5 x 6 mm. (Slight deviations possible due to manual work)

Solid brass, polished and nickel-plated and 24 carat hard gold plated
Handle:
Ivory plastic trays attached with Tudor floral screws - hole for portepee provided.
