Lithuania Army officer's saber with nickel-plated steel scabbard with 2 rings

     Blade: Forged stainless steel, hardened and tempered to approx. 48-55 HRC Rockwell, hand ground and polished. Elegant bend. Blade is flexible. One hollow track per side. Dimensions: approx. 810 x 20 x 5 mm
     Outfit: Cast from solid brass, consisting of ball screw, grip cap, bracket and grip strap. Hand set, ground and polished. .
     Handle: Made of particularly durable ABS plastic, black, finely pearled surface for a firm grip, wrapped with three twisted and silver-plated brass wires.
     Scabbard: Bent seamless tubular steel, handcrafted, ground and polished, nickelplated. With 2 carrying rings.

Sheath equipped with scratch protection for the blade on both sides.

Solid brass guard bearing the letters "USN" in a scroll, cap and pommel - handpolished and 24-carat goldplated.

Handle:
Solid ABS handle covered with real stingrayskin. Wrapped with 3 golden brass wires.

Blade: 
A Forged stainless steel blade, hardened and tempered to ca. 48-53°HRC Rockwell. Mirror-like polished by hand.
The blade has got a groove on each side and is straight.

Etching:
Official USN etching pattern with "USN" letters in a scroll. So deep you can feel it with a fingernail.

Scabbard:
Straight steel  tube covered with real calf skin of black colour, 3 goldplated brass mounts with 2 carrying rings for attachment to the leather belt.

This quality arm is based on the Royal Air Force Officer Sword with scabbard used by RAF Officers  of Air Rankand below Air Rank. It is crafted in accordance with the British MOD specifications UK/SC/6206 Issue 1.

In November 2005, WKC purchased the toolings of Wilkinson Sword Ltd.  for production of various ceremonial swords.

  • Forged steel blade, carbon steel or stainless steel. It is hardened to ca. 48-52° HRC Rockwell, then well-tempered and hand-polished. The acid-etch is so deep, that one can feel it with a fingernail. Dimension of the blade is ca ca. 810 x 22 x 5 mm.

  • Cast brass, hand-polished, 24-carats gold-plated  . Top nut re-chiseled and 24-carats gold-plated  .

• Etching: Both sides of the blade are traditionally acid etched with ornaments and name panel. The acid-etching is so deep, that one can feel it with a fingernail.
• Guard: Goldplated brass casting, with Navy crest embedded.
• Grip: Ivory-colored textured ABS plastic, wrapped with 3 golden wires.
