Royal Canadian Air Force – Officer Sword
This sword and scabbard are crafted in accordance with the British MOD specifications UK/SC/6202 Issue 1 using the tooling purchased from Wilkinson Sword Ltd. in 2005. As such, they also meet the Canadian DND/DSSPM specifications.

Scabbard: NSN 8465-99-305-3703
Blade
o Dimensions: 810 x 22 x 5mm
o Specifications: forged stainless steel blade; hardened to ca 48-52° HRC Rockwell, well-tempered and hand-polished
o Design: acid etched both sides with the RCAF pattern; etched to a depth that one can feel with a fingernail
Guard: cast brass, hand-polished, 24k gold-plated; top nut re-chiseled and re-plated
Grip: covered with genuine sharkskin, wrapped with three gold-plated wires
Scabbard: genuine black leather scabbard, hand-sewn; 24k gold-plated brass fittings, two attachment rings
Accessory: protective cloth bag included
