In November 2005, WKC purchased the majority of the Wilkinson Sword Ltd. production in London. Amongst machines, equipment and parts, we also acquired the tools for the British Infantry and Corps & Royal Marines Officers Sword which Wilkinson delivered exclusively to the MOD of UK and various commonwealth countries.

Finish: hand sanded and polished - nickel plated and 24 carat gold plated.

The blade tang is firmly screwed to the pommel.

The handle is covered with genuine cowhide and 3 gold-plated brass wires in the grooves.

Blade:

The blade is hand-forged from carbon steel, flexible, hardened to 48-55° HRC Rockwell.

Both sides have 2 narrow blood grooves that are sanded by hand.

Finish: Manually ground and polished, black powder-coated.

Sheath:

The steel sheath is made by hand from a seamless steel tube, mouthpiece, endpiece and ring.

The guard is cast from solid brass, consisting of a finely chiseled guard, three crowns and anchor, and a richly decorated lion's head cap.

The guard is equipped with a folding hinge that holds the leather sheath.

Finish: hand sanded and polished - nickel plated and 24 carat gold plated.

The blade tang is continuous and firmly screwed to the mount.

The handle is covered with genuine cowhide leather and 3 gold-plated brass wires in the grooves.

Blade:

The blade is hand-forged from carbon steel, dimensions approx. 21 x 6 x 790 mm, flexible, hardened to 48-55° HRC Rockwell.

Both sides have blood grooves that are sanded by hand.

Finish: Manually ground and polished, bright nickel plated.

Acid-etching:

The blade is finely damascened (acid-etched) on both sides using the historic damascene process from the 19th century.

The damascene is matt nickel-plated and corresponds to the model from 1915.

Sheath:

The leather sheath is made by hand from a seamless tube and covered with genuine cowhide.

The three brass fittings are finely chased and cut out, chased with ornamentation.

One brass carrying ring is soldered to the fitting with silver solder via eyelet.

Finish: Hand sanded and polished - 24k gold plated.
